Who we are

Enda O'Keeffe founded Cathedral Risk in 2024.

Enda has advised on projects in every major sector of the Irish construction industry, from semi-conductor fabrication plants to waste-to-energy facilities.

Enda originally qualified as a civil and structural engineer. He worked in an NRA motorway design office for five years, working initially on EISs and the broader consenting process, then project liaison.

Before qualifying as a barrister in 2008, Enda developed information-management systems for major projects seeking planning approval under the first National Development Plan.

Between 2015 and 2024 Enda was a partner in two leading commercial law firms, specialising in construction and professional negligence disputes. Enda managed disputes involving sums of up to €1bn, in alternative dispute resolution and at all levels of the Irish courts.

In 2023 Enda was listed by Business Today as one of the ten most influential construction lawyers in Ireland.
